Travel/Foreigner insurance

Application for compensation and evaluation of the claim will be more simple and quick if you:

Submit detailed information about the incident;
Submit a copy of the child's birth certificate, if the application is for your minor child;
Indicate the bank account number of the injured person or the recipient of compensation;
Prepare and attach to the application documents intended for receiving compensation (see under the "Continue" button).

If the policy has been purchased for one specific trip, but you do not leave Latvia due to illness, please indicate the start date of the policy in the incident date field.

Foreigners insurance

Residence permit in the Republic of Latvia or visa.
Medical documents with specified diagnosis; in case of dental expenses, documents must contain information on which tooth was treated, which manipulations were performed.
Financial documents (check, invoice and payment documents, etc.)

Trip cancellation before departure

Certificate or statement or other documents confirming the reason for the cancellation of the insured trip.
Payment documents for travel transportation and accommodation.
Agreement with the travel agency/operator, if the trip is purchased through them.
A statement from the travel agency confirming that the trip has been cancelled, as well as indicates whether compensation or the possibility of rescheduling the trip is possible.

Dentistry, illness, injury, recreational activity or sports injury

Copy of ticket (for departure from Latvia) or reservation document.
Certificate from a medical institution (full diagnosis, treatment, examination results confirming the diagnosis).
A copy of the prescription (if any) for the purchase of medication.
Documents proving payments.

Luggage damage

Photos of the damaged luggage showing the general view, damage, make/model.
Baggage slip, which indicates the name, surname.
The carrier's statement from the airport about the fact of damage to the luggage (damage report).
Copy of ticket or booking document.

Luggage delay

The carrier's statement about the delay of the luggage, with a note about the time of its receipt.
Copy of ticket or booking document.
Baggage slip, registered to the insured person.
Purchase list (with details) and payment documents for essential goods purchased abroad.

Lost luggage (not found)

The carrier's statement about the fact of the loss of luggage.
Copy of ticket or booking document.
Baggage slip (with clearly legible information), registered to the insured person.
The carrier's statement about the compensation paid or the refusal to pay.
List of lost luggage, indicating the name, value, time of the item.

Theft of luggage during travel

Statement from the airline about the duration of the delay and the compensation paid or refusal to pay it.
Original ticket and proof of payment for the flight that was delayed.
A copy of the reissued or new ticket or boarding pass.
Payment documents for reissunace of the ticket or purchasing a new ticket to continue the journey to the destination.

Flight delay

Statement from the airline about the duration of the delay.
Boarding pass.
Documents certifying expenses for catering, hotel and transportation to/from the airport and hotel, received abroad. And/or rebooking expenses for a new airline ticket.

If you have suffered indirect losses, lost profits or moral damage, contact the Carrier (airline) for the possibility of compensation, as the concluded insurance contract does not cover such losses

Replacement of a delayed flight, if starting the trip with a flight from Latvia, the next one is missed - cruise ship, train

Statement from the airline about the duration of the delay and the compensation paid or refusal to pay it.
Original ticket and proof of payment for the flight that was delayed.
A copy of the reissued or new ticket or boarding pass.
Payment documents for reissunace of the ticket or purchasing a new ticket to continue the journey to the destination.

Missed connected flight

Boarding pass for the flight that was delayed.
Tickets of missed flights or other types of transport.
Statement issued by the airline on the duration of the flight delay, the reason and the compensation paid or refused.
Payment documents for ticket reissuing or purchase of a new ticket to reach the destination of the previously scheduled and missed flight.
Expenses at the transit point (intermediate stage where the flight was missed) for hotel and transport (airport-hotel-airport) services.

Recalling from vacation

Statement from the employer, including the reason for recalling from vacation.
The original of the unused tickets or the confirmation document of the purchase of these tickets.
A copy of the purchased new ticket and payment document.

Damage of inventory due to an accident

A statement from a medical institution confirming the fact of the accident and the established diagnosis.
Photographs of the damaged inventory with the general view, damages, the make/model of the inventory.
Payment documents for inventory or rent.
